Booking Fees.
Booking fees are taken no matter what package or job we are competing, please see your personalised contract or package description for more information. Booking fees are non-refundable, and non-negotiable, and are decided upon initial consultation and will be paid at the time of signing the contract.  A Booking fee is taken to ensure my exclusiveness for your shoot and is 50% of the fee of the job, unless discussed otherwise.

The full balance is payable no later than 12 days before the shoot date. When accepting your quote you will be required to pay a 50% deposit of the total service fee. You will then receive automated reminders for two 25% payments. Dates are reserved only when the booking fee is paid directly through our online quotations or by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Please make cheques payable to “Ross Andrew Powell”. For direct bank transfers, please ask Ross or Russ for details or see quotation. We do have a SumUp Card Reader, so we can also take the below payments in person or via a virtual terminal if you would prefer to pay over the phone:

Transportation Fees.
Travel charges only apply when the shoot or event is outside of a 40-mile radius of TF2 9GH. This is again, non-negotiable and must be paid upon the signing of the contract, as part of the 50% deposit if applicable. We charge the standard business rate in petrol costs which is 40 pence per mile. That covers any petrol, car ware, transportation of equipment etc. See personal contract for more details. Transportation Fees may vary depending on if we are on-route from another shoot or event.

An overnight stay (at cost) may be required if the shoot location is over two and a half hours per leg. To be discussed upon enquiry.

Creative License.
R&R Photography © shall be granted full creative and artistic licence in relation to the choice of locations and poses used. Our judgement on the style and number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct. Due to changes in the weather and the availability and the willingness of the subjects, R&R Photography © vow to do our best to honour requested photographs but does not undertake to guarantee any specific picture, location or group arrangement. In the event of insufficient time being allowed: eg. owing to a late start or by not following any suggested time allowances, the client accepts that the quality and quantity of photographs may be jeopardised. In any event, every effort will be made by R&R Photography ©. See personal contract for more details.

Delivery of Products.
Please see individual contract regarding the delivery of your photographs or video products. The standard time for jobs would be between 4 and 6 weeks depending on how busy our workflow is, but a rough date will be confirmed in person upon signing your individual contract. Video products will take slightly longer, and will be delivered between 8 – 10 weeks. R&R Photography © will not be held liable to give any form of refund or compensation if editing exceeds the above weeks – if affected by uncontrollable factors or emergencies or during peak seasons. Clients will under no circumstance, receive unedited or ‘RAW’ files, this includes both still imagery and video footage.

The 1998 Copyright Designs and Patents Act assigns copyright to R&R Photography ©. You, or any persons may not accept the photographs taken under this contract, or allow copies to be made photographically, electronically or by any other means without the permission of R&R Photography ©. Force Majeure.
In the unlikely event of the total photographic failure, injury or sickness beyond control of R&R Photography ©, the liability will be limited to the full refund of all money paid. See personal contract for more details.

In the event of cancellation, the following terms apply: the booking fee is non-refundable. If the shoot/event is postponed then, subject to the availability of R&R Photography ©, all money paid will be applied to the new date. If the cancellation is within 21 days and the balance has been paid in full, R&R Photography © will refund all money paid, less £500 (or 50% of the fee, if lower than £500) as compensation towards loss of income and for any expenses incurred. If R&R Photography © has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control (injury, sickness etc.) their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all money paid.

Product Expiry Period.
All Photography and Videography products will be kept on storage devices, and can be sent over again to the clients at any time upon request. We store edited images and videos up to two years, and highly recommend our clients back up their work as soon as possible. With this being said, any additional products that are agreed upon booking (Wedding Albums, Canvas Prints etc) must be redeemed within 2 months of the delivery of your products. Any products that aren’t followed up on after 2 months will be void, and no refund will be issued.

Third Party Suppliers
Any products or services that require third-party suppliers, as an example, Vanilla Photobooks: who create our Wedding Albums, shall be deemed as a separate service. R&R Photography © will not be deemed liable for any delays in delivery, variations in quality, print or finish- despite dealing directly with the Third Party, supplying the services to you, as their customer. R&R Photography © vow to do our best to maintain consistency of service, and resolve any issues that may arise. Whilst every effort will be made to negotiate competitive prices, R&R Photography © cannot be held responsible for unexpected increases of list prices etc; which will be the responsibility of the client to cover.

COVID19 Cover
Here at R&R Photography © we have been observing the Coronavirus situation very carefully, and we are continuing with business as usual, we have taken the following precautions to do our part as a small, independent business:

We understand that during this uncertain, and ever-changing time we live in, that there will be many of you who have been affected by the COVID19 virus. We will be offering all of our clients, both wedding and non-wedding related; fully inclusive COVID19 cover. This means that if your shoot is postponed, you will be entitled to a free amendment, and will not incur any charges or fees for changing the date; and all money paid will be applied to the new date – you will not receive any fees or penalties for changing your wedding or event date. All we request is as much notice as possible, so we can make arrangements where necessary. If you decide that you would like to cancel your shoot/project – this will be treated as a normal cancellation – and loss of 50% deposit (please see above).

As usual, our team continues to keep themselves (and their hands) clean. We will be taking extra care regarding social distancing, shaking hands, and ensuring our Photobooth, and any other kit will be deep cleaned and prepared for your shoot or event.
